These characters were just the best y’all.įor me, the innuendo was a bit heavy. And I love how Jamar worked through his own history and allowed those around him to help him through it too. He was just so cute!!! Ahh, I really love this couple. I was swooning left and right every time he spoke to Taylor. And while she struggled though some personal things, her character got a gorgeous arc that lead to growth and new horizons because those that loved her helped her (and she accepted the help). Taylor was full of bravery and passion to make her path work. The characters were lovable and relatable. I read it in a day because it was so easy to fly though. Want to give this book a shot? I loved that Farrah Rochon created three characters that we well developed and supportive of each other.Īll in all, this was an enjoyable read. Reading this book made me miss my best friend even more. Seriously, those three women are relationship goals. Though the romance was great, what I loved the most was the relationship between Samiah, London & Taylor. Watching their relationship bloom was a joy! I loved that this book showed building a relationship and that this wasn’t insta-love but more insta-connection. I enjoyed the plot & Daniel & Samiah worked well together. The Boyfriend Project was an enjoyable read.
I’m so impressed with her narrations that I added her to my favorite narrator’s list. Je Nie Fleming did a fantastic job narrating this book. I’ve been struggling with reading books so listening to the audiobook was a glorious thing. Luckily for me, I also received the audiobook from Libro.fm through their influencers program.
